New Delhi: TVS Motor Company has unveiled a new TVS Raider 125 Super Squad Edition that is inspired by Doctor Doom. The new variant will be priced at ₹95,320 (ex-showroom Delhi) and will be available at the TVS authorised dealers in India soon.
The most interesting feature of the new Raider Super Squad Edition will be the exclusive green paint scheme, which will be unusual in any colour on the 125cc motorcycle. The special finish is inspired by Marvel's iconic bad guy Doctor Doom, and the finishing changes depending on the lighting and viewing angle. The bike has a metallic green colour under direct light, but takes on rich brown tones from other perspectives, resulting in a stylish dual-toned appearance. This is a special travel colour from TVS.
The theme of the design has been inspired by the metallic armour and dark green suit of Doctor Doom. The front cowl, fuel tank extensions and rear side panels are finished in the exclusive Spectral Green, while contrasting black features further add to the sporty look of the motorcycle.
The bike is given a new look, but its mechanical package is unchanged. The TVS Raider Super Squad Edition continues to be powered by the trusted 124.8cc, single-cylinder, air- and oil-cooled, three-valve engine that delivers 11.2 bhp at 7,500 rpm. It matches the 5-speed gearbox in combination with the brand's iGO Assist technology to enhance acceleration and make everyday city riding smoother and more responsive.
TVS has also maintained the Raider's futuristic spirit with its Connected Reverse LCD Instrument Cluster. The smart console offers over 85 onboard features, such as Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, ride data, call and SMS alerts and more rider-centric features and is one of the most advanced motorcycles in the 125cc commuter class.
By introducing the Doctor Doom-themed Spectral Green version, TVS will bolster the Raider's appeal to young people who want a cool-looking commuter bike that is packed with modern technology and has a special road impact.
