All the major upgrades have been incorporated, giving the 2026 Scorpio-N its edge and making it a top contender among the competitors in the market. Mahindra has unveiled the 2026 Scorpio-N in India with several enhancements, but the design and engine have remained unchanged. The SUV has been upgraded with premium options including a 540-degree surround-view camera, a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster and a panoramic sunroof.

The 2026 Mahindra Scorpio-N will be offered in seven variants and is priced at ₹13.69 lakh (ex-showroom) with both petrol and diesel engine options.

The 2026 Mahindra Scorpio-N receives a significant upgrade in its features

The most newsworthy feature of the refreshed Scorpio-N is the new panoramic sunroof (new for the top-spec Z8L version). It replaces the previous single-pane sunroof, which now adds a more upscale touch to the SUV.

For easier parking and navigation in tight spaces, Mahindra has also equipped the new car with blind spot monitoring and a 540-degree surround-view camera. The additional underbody view further improves visibility while driving on rough terrain.

The new 15.6-inch Infotainment screen and Digital Driver Display are bigger as well

A major technology upgrade has been carried out in the cabin. Mid and higher variants have a bigger 12.29-inch touchscreen infotainment system in place of the previous smaller version. Mahindra have kept the physical buttons below the screen to aid in accessing the key functions.

A notable change is the all-digital instrument console, which replaces the analogue console and has a 10.25-inch screen. The new display provides three pre-programmed arrangements that let drivers adjust the information on display as they like.

New Alloy Wheels and Faster Charging

In addition, the Z8T variant and onwards is now offered with diamond-cut alloy wheels as opposed to the previous 17-inch wheels, which further lend the SUV a muscular look.

This is not only a 65W USB Type-C fast charging port but also has been placed on the front passenger side, which will make it simpler to charge smartphones and other compatible devices quickly while on the road.

Engine options are unchanged

The 2026 Scorpio-N is powered by the same engine options as the current model, and the mechanical changes to the engine will be identical.

There is a choice of a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 2.2-litre diesel engine. The two powertrains also offer 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions, and 2WD and 4WD drive modes based on the specific configuration.

Price and Variants

The fresh Mahindra Scorpio-N comes in 7 variants to suit various customers

The SUV's base price starts at ₹13.69 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Z2 Petrol Manual model, with the top-of-the-line Z8L ADAS 7-Seater Diesel 4WD Automatic model available at ₹25.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

Conclusion

The 2026 Mahindra Scorpio-N is an even better choice in the full-size SUV market with top-of-the-range features such as a 540-degree camera system, a larger infotainment screen and a digital instrument cluster. With this, Mahindra hopes to further bolster the Scorpio-N's offerings against competitors like the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, Hyundai Alcazar and Jeep Meridian, which are powered by petrol and diesel engines.
