Mahindra & Mahindra has seen a robust performance in July 2026, reflecting sustained demand for its vehicle portfolio. The company sold a total of 1,03,860 vehicles, which included exports, and the growth was impressive, at 26% year-on-year.
The growth was led by Mahindra's Utility Vehicle (SUV) segment, which further picked up its momentum. For domestic sales, the company sold 60,048 SUVs, which increased by 20% from last year's July figures. Overall sales of Mahindra's SUV portfolio, which includes export sales, reached 60,887 units, reflecting the growing success of the SUV segment.
The sales in July are in line with the company's overall performance across the portfolio, which includes sales of the SUV segment growing 20% year-on-year and the overall vehicle business posting 26% sales growth, Automotive Division CEO Nalinikanth Gollagunta said.
The commercial vehicle segment has seen significant growth.
The performance of Mahindra's Commercial Vehicle business was also positive for July 2026. Domestic sales of commercial vehicles increased by 23% year-on-year to 25,204 units.
Key highlights include:
- LCV below 2 tonnes: 3,870 units, up 40% YoY
- LCV 2 tonnes–3.5 tonnes: 21,334 units, up 21% YoY
There were 14,538 three-wheelers (including electric 3Ws), of which the growth was robust at 53%
The significant growth of three-wheelers shows a stronger demand for efficient mobility solutions for the last mile, such as electric mobility.
Export performance continues to be robust.
The company also posted decent growth in the international markets with total exports of 4,070 units in the month of July 2026, which is 47% higher than the previous year. The export momentum has also been robust, with YTD growth of 60% from the previous year as well.

As Mahindra's demand for SUVs remains strong, commercial vehicle sales are rising, and the company's international footprint continues to grow, it's reinforcing its presence in the Indian automotive industry. Strong market acceptance, brand confidence and continued growth in various vehicle categories are evident in the results of July 2026.
