Indian car maker Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has launched the Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Black Edition as a limited edition styling package. The new version has been enhanced with some black exterior touches to the vehicle, making it sportier and more luxurious.
The Aero Black Edition comes exclusively on Midnight Black G and V finishes. It is available with both Neo Drive and strong hybrid transmissions.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Black Edition: What's New?
The Aero Black Edition's most prominent feature is its black exterior styling package. This SUV has a few other black features, such as:
- Upper trim piece of the front grill
- Front spoiler
- Headlamp garnish
- Tailgate garnish
- Rear spoiler
- Special ‘Aero Black' limited edition badge
The cost of the styling package is 31,999, limited to a quantity that will sell out on a first-come, first-served basis.
For those opting for a more complete blacked-out look, Toyota will also be making an optional All-Black Package available at dealerships for an extra cost.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Powertrain
The SUV's petrol and strong hybrid drives remain unchanged, with the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Black Edition continuing in the same tradition. The new styling package is not accompanied by any mechanical changes from Toyota.
With both Neo Drive and strong hybrid powertrains available, customers can optionally opt for the Aero Black styling package with either powertrain, depending on variant availability.
Toyota Hyryder Achieves 2 Lakh Sales Milestone
With the launch of the Aero Black Edition, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder is hitting an important milestone in India. Since its introduction in 2022, the SUV has sold over 2 lakh units, making it a part of the midsize SUV segment of the Indian market.
For the Aero Black Edition, Toyota has set out to provide customers with a more unique design of the Hyryder, without altering the mechanical package.

The Aero Black Edition styling package comes at Rs. 31,999, which comes with strong hybrid or Neo Drive powertrains and is available on grades G and V of Midnight Black. It is a limited-period offer, so it will only be available as long as stocks are available at dealerships.
The new edition is geared towards the buyer who is looking for a sportier, more exclusive look for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder that maintains all the powertrain and features of the current version.
